Lucas was raised in Sisters, Oregon and experienced wildfires effects firsthand in his community. He has 15 years of forestry experience and loves talking to landowners about trees and land management. His background comes from a BS in Forest Management from Oregon State University and is a certified Silviculturist.
Janelle is no stranger to fuels management either, during college she worked at a Forest Fire Research lab and has a BS in Biology from the University of Washington.
Together, they own property in the Columbia River Gorge and understand the priority of protecting property from the risk of wildfire in a fire prone ecosystem. By living in fire prone communities, Janelle and Lucas have seen the impact that fire preparation can have for landowners. They both share the desire to improve their communities saftey, preparedness and relisency to wildfires. Recongizing the risk to their local communities, Lucas and Janelle started Glick Forestry to take steps to increase community preparedness.
